Choose a labeled endpoint, then select neighboring squares along its path. Selecting an earlier square shortens the current path. Choose an endpoint again to redraw that color; the buttons also work with Tab and Enter.

This tab keeps your round and up to 80 undo positions. Nothing syncs to another device.

A LITTLE CONTEXT

Path Garden: a free browser game

Path Garden is a free connect-the-dots puzzle on a five-by-five board. Join each pair of matching, letter-labeled endpoints with a continuous path. Paths may turn, but they move horizontally or vertically and cannot overlap. Finish all four pairs and cover every square to complete the board. The sixteen layouts are rotations and reflections of two independently authored path patterns, rather than imported levels from another app.

How to play Path Garden

  1. Match A with A, B with B, C with C and D with D. Endpoint labels make the pairs readable without color alone.
  2. Move one square horizontally or vertically. Another pair’s endpoint or occupied path blocks the square.
  3. Complete all four connections and fill the entire twenty-five-square board. A legal partial set of connections is not yet a win.

Path Garden strategy

Reserve the narrow passages

An endpoint near a corner has fewer routes out. Read the edges first and notice where a neighboring pair might need to pass. A long detour can close the only lane another color has.

Keep the empty field connected

Before extending a path, look at the spaces it leaves behind. A pocket with no available endpoint cannot be filled by a completed pair later.

Use redraws deliberately

Click an earlier point to trim a path, or restart that color at an endpoint. The guide route illustrates one complete arrangement; it does not automatically repair a route you have drawn differently.

A worked example

A path may turn through three neighboring squares in an L shape. It cannot jump diagonally from the top-left square to the center. Even when all pairs touch their partners, any unfilled square keeps the puzzle unfinished.

Questions about Path Garden

Can two paths cross?

No. Every square belongs to at most one color, including all endpoints.

Do I have to fill the whole board?

Yes. All four pairs must connect and their paths must cover all twenty-five squares.

Are these official Flow Free levels?

No. These are independently authored Joywisp patterns and their geometric variants. No publisher levels, artwork or player files are loaded.

What does Show guide do?

It displays one tested original route arrangement. It changes no paths and does not claim that your current partial route is consistent with that arrangement.

Local progress, keyboard play and privacy

This original player runs in your browser. Refreshing the same tab restores the puzzle and its bounded undo history; closing the tab ends that session. If tab storage is blocked, the live round remains playable and the player explains the limitation. Keyboard users can reach controls with Tab and activate buttons with Enter or Space. The player sends no guesses, word groups, moves or hint requests to a remote game service. Read the storage details →
