MAKE ROOM TO DODGE

Read the approaching hazard.
Hold toward open water.

  1. Choose Play and wait for the Get Ready countdown before steering.
  2. Use short directional holds to move away from the approaching spiked hazards. The reviewed loss panel reported Score 3 and Highest Score 3 after a collision.
  3. The loss panel has an ordinary Retry button and a separate Watch ad to survive option. The ordinary desktop retry opened another attempt; the advertising option was not selected.

Desktop controls

Choose Play, then hold Left or Right. Separate 700ms holds visibly moved the octopus to the left and back toward the right.

Phone or tablet

Use Full screen. In the reviewed Android browser profile, hold the left or right side of the game field to steer. Actual 600ms touch holds moved the octopus in both directions; a swipe in the initial desktop browser profile did not establish movement.

Left and Right are verified. Other keys and vertical movement remain untested. The Joywisp Return to page and Stop game controls stay above the game.

DON’T STAY IN THE CENTER

Leave yourself a route back.

Holding left moved the octopus close to the edge in the accepted keyboard check. Release or switch direction before a new hazard occupies the route back. Watch the moving obstacles as well as the octopus instead of holding one side throughout the run.

ORDINARY RETRY IS SEPARATE

A portrait field with a visible exit.

The game fits a tall field and keeps its own pause icon at the top. Joywisp’s Full screen expands the player on phones while keeping Return to page and Stop game reachable. Skins, coins, later levels and advertising continuations were not tested.

Before swimming again

Should I swipe to move?

The accepted Android-profile interaction was a hold on the left or right side. Desktop uses Left and Right. An initial swipe test did not establish steering.

Is a video needed to try again?

The observed loss panel offers a normal Retry beside the separate Watch ad to survive option. The normal desktop retry was tested; no ad or reward was selected.

Was this checked on a physical phone?

No. Touch steering was verified in a Pixel 7 browser profile with actual dispatched touch holds. Physical devices, vertical movement and later levels remain unverified.
