DRAW A LINE. CLAIM A BOX.

Watch the third side.
Own the fourth.

  1. Take turns drawing one unused horizontal or vertical line between two adjacent dots.
  2. Draw the fourth side of a square to claim it with your mark. The score increases and you take another turn.
  3. Continue until the board is filled. The player who has claimed more boxes wins.

Desktop controls

Click an unused horizontal or vertical edge between neighboring dots. The gear opens settings; choose Vs Bot or Local 2P there. New Game starts a fresh board.

Phone or tablet

Tap an unused edge. Full screen gives the grid more room and keeps Return to page, Retry and Stop game above it. A smaller grid can make individual lines easier to target.

Moves use the pointer rather than Arrow keys. The Joywisp toolbar remains reachable with Tab; Stop game closes the player.

THINK ONE TURN AHEAD

A harmless edge can become a chain.

Before drawing a line, count the sides of the nearby squares. Leaving a square with three sides gives the next player an easy fourth. Later in the game, look for chains: one completed box grants another turn and can lead straight to the next.

SET UP YOUR TABLE

Choose the opponent and the grid.

The tested player opens against a medium computer opponent. Its gear menu includes Local 2P for taking turns on the same screen and difficulty options for the computer. The bottom row changes the dot grid from 5×5 to 9×9. The provider also displays an online mode; a connected online match was not checked.

Before drawing the next line

Can two people play on the same screen?

Yes. Open the gear menu and select Local 2P. Both players take turns using the same mouse or touch screen.

Why did the turn stay with the same player?

Completing a box gives an extra turn. In the checked local game, closing the first square increased Player 2’s score to 1 and kept Player 2’s turn.

How do I play against the computer?

Choose Vs Bot in the gear menu. The player offers Easy, Medium and Master difficulty. A computer response was observed in the opening game.

Is online multiplayer verified here?

The official game displays an online option and a room-code guide. Joywisp has not checked a connected online match and does not operate its own matchmaking service.
