Block Storm

Choose a landing with room around it. The blocks can tumble after they touch the pile.

THINK IN COLOR GROUPS

Place the next block.
Read the pile again.

  1. Start the native board, then choose a position for the falling block.
  2. Build groups of 10 or more touching blocks of one color. The publisher also describes clearing a row dominated by one color.
  3. Let the pile settle before judging its next gap. Physics can move blocks away from the neat positions you expected.

Desktop controls

Click inside the board and press a key to begin. Left and Right move, Up rotates and Down makes a soft drop. Space makes a hard drop; M changes sound.

Phone or tablet

Use portrait Full screen and tap the board to start. Tap to rotate, drag left or right to move, drag down for a soft drop and flick down for a hard drop. Keep gestures inside the board.

The native Score, Lines and Level counters sit above the playfield. Return to page keeps the player open; Stop game closes it and restores focus to Play.

KEEP SPACE ABOVE THE PILE

Leave a pocket beside a useful color.

Look at the blocks already touching, then choose where a matching piece could join them. A narrow peak can make later landings awkward. Leave space beside a promising group and inspect the new pile after each drop rather than assuming it stays on a rigid grid.

A STACK THAT CAN SHIFT

The opening board teaches the gestures.

Its start screen lists tap, drag and flick controls, with Score, Lines and Level above the board. Keyboard and touch acceptance both reached a moving, populated physics playfield. A score clear and later storm events were not established in that check.

Before the blocks fall

Does any full row automatically clear?

The publisher describes a row with mostly one color, alongside groups of 10 or more touching same-color blocks. Focus on color relationships when placing a piece.

How is a soft drop different from a hard drop?

Down or a downward drag is the soft-drop control. Space or a quick downward flick is the hard-drop control.

Is a storm win included in the review?

The review verified start and actual keyboard/touch board interaction. It did not establish a completed storm event, score clear or later-level win.
