ONE STEM AT A TIME

Choose a first line.
Let the others respond.

  1. Press Begin, then select a branch or flower. The first stem becomes Shin, the tallest guiding line.
  2. Follow the glowing guide and the harmony hint while adjusting the stem. Add Soe and Hikae to give the arrangement its other main lines.
  3. Use Done between edits. When you want to step back, choose Contemplate; Keep arranging returns you to the same work.

Desktop controls

Choose a branch, flower or green from the lower tabs. Drag to lean the selected stem; Length and Turn adjust its proportions and direction. Done finishes that edit, and Remove takes the selected stem out.

Phone or tablet

Tap a plant to add it, then drag on the arrangement to lean it. Use the native sliders and Done button to finish your edit. Full screen makes the plant shelf and arrangement easier to reach.

The arranging tools use pointer or touch. Stop game closes the official player and returns focus to Play.

GIVE EACH STEM A ROLE

Change one relationship at a time.

Begin with the long first stem rather than filling the vase immediately. Adjust its lean, then compare the next stem with it. Shorter elements near the base can support the main lines without covering every open space.

A MOMENT TO LOOK

The hint can guide your next adjustment.

The harmony meter changes as the arrangement develops, and the accompanying text suggests the next line or proportion. Contemplate offers a slower view and breathing prompt. You can return to editing when the arrangement needs another small change.

At the arrangement table

What does Shin mean in this game?

Shin is the first, heaven line. The in-game guide then introduces Soe, the human line, and Hikae, the earth line.

Can I change a stem after placing it?

A selected stem has Length, Turn, Remove and Done tools. Dragging changes its lean, so placement is a starting point for further adjustment.

Does Contemplate finish the arrangement permanently?

Keep arranging returns to editing. New arrangement starts another composition, so choose the option that matches what you want to do next.
