What to expect
- Objective

- Ending condition
- The creator says this demo has a first-act ending and credits; later story content is not established here.
- Creator-listed input
- Left/right, Z/Space jump, X/J/mouse bow, C/Shift dash and Q/E or numbers to switch arrows are listed.
Treat arrows as route tools
The creator describes seven arrow types. Fire burns webs and dry roots, Light releases a revealing firefly, Vine makes a climbing rope from anchors, Wind pushes and opens bird seals, Resin freezes dark water only at night, and Blast breaks sealed rocks. Bow shots charge in three stages, with free aim or a stated auto-aim option. The page does not explain every arrow in equal detail, and Joywisp has not tested puzzle solutions.
Understand the first-act demo
The creator says the demo contains 52 rooms in six regions, five bosses, shrines, a map, day and night, and an ending with credits for the first act. Monsters are said to telegraph attacks and leave openings, making arrow choice part of combat. Keyboard, gamepad and touch are listed; performance, accessibility, balance and phone behavior are unverified. The creator also discloses AI-assisted development and procedurally generated visual/audio assets.
How to choose
The creator lists left/right movement, Z or Space to jump, X/J/mouse to hold and release the bow, C or Shift to dash, Q/E or number keys to switch arrows, and Esc for pause or map. These bindings are untested by Joywisp. Choose this if you want one first-act forest route with both traversal and combat uses for arrows. StarJump in the existing Platformer comparison instead focuses on a contained tower ascent and checkpoints; this is a difference in task, not a quality ranking.
