Creator-listed input

Trade visibility for noise

The creator says walls appear briefly as amber dots when an echo reaches them, then darkness returns. Keys and locked exits also respond to an echo, even around corners. Listeners are blind but react to footsteps or echoes, so revealing a route has a stated cost. Their actual hearing range and movement were not tested.

Plan around ten changing mazes

The page describes ten generated levels that grow wider and more crowded, with an ending. Creaking floorboards become visible only in echo light; wall niches let the player hide and hold their breath. The creator mentions keen and sleepy listeners and offers a Russian-language switch. No level sequence or completion time was independently verified.

How to choose

The creator lists Arrow keys or WASD to move, Space to send an echo and P to pause. A phone drag and echo button are also described, but Joywisp has not tested touch play. Choose Echo for a maze where information itself may attract danger. The existing Puzzle comparison offers gentler route tasks, including Whirly’s visibility help; Echo instead describes stealth pressure and an explicitly sound-led path. Joywisp has not compared difficulty through play.
