FILL THE MISSING LETTERS

Choose a clue.
Make the crossing count.

  1. Follow a clue’s arrow to its answer cells. A picture with blanks asks for the missing letters; keep any given letters already on the board.
  2. Choose a letter from the five-tile rack and place it in an empty square. The native help says correct submitted letters stay while wrong letters return.
  3. Each placed letter is described as +1 and a completed word as +5. Filling C and T around the given A produced a verified 7-point opening word; using all five rack letters is described as another +5.

Desktop controls

Click a clue, select a yellow rack letter, then click an empty square. Press the check-mark button to submit. Native help also describes dragging a rack letter onto a square.

Phone or tablet

Use Full screen. Tap the clue, a rack letter and its empty square, then the check mark. Actual touch inputs filled C and T around the given A and scored 7 for CAT.

Native help lists A–Z to choose a tile, arrows to move, Enter to place, Ctrl/Command+Enter to submit and Backspace to undo. These shortcuts were read, while this review tested click and touch placement.

KEEP THE GIVEN LETTER

Use a crossing before using a boost.

The starting CAT clue needs only two rack letters because A is already supplied. Look for that kind of partial answer first, then see which crossing clue can reuse the completed letters. Shuffle rearranges the rack; the separate Swap and Hint controls consume limited boosts.

LETTERS AND WORDS SCORE SEPARATELY

A small grid with two score panels.

The native help describes no time limit and compares your score with an Opponent panel. That panel does not establish live multiplayer. The reviewed opening proved a completed word and its points; opponent behavior, full-level results, boost replenishment and persistent progression remain unverified.

Before submitting a word

Do I replace letters already printed on the board?

The opening word kept its given A. Select empty answer cells for the missing C and T, then submit.

Why did CAT give 7 points?

Two new letters contributed two points and completing the word contributed five, matching the native help and the observed score.

Are hints unlimited?

No. The opening player shows three Hint and three Swap boosts. Native help says an exhausted boost can offer an ad; no boost, advertising offer or replenishment was selected during the review.
