Cross-check the readings
Goods arrive on a tray while a seller waits behind glass. The creator describes ten tools that offer partial readings rather than a final fake-or-real answer. Weight, density, spectra, probes, light and registry results can disagree; the example is an item whose apparent metal reading conflicts with low density. Knowledge libraries explain codes only after purchase, so an appraisal is also an investment choice.
Trade under time and trust pressure
A request to drill can test the seller's reaction: an honest seller may accept, while a cheat may refuse or lower a price. The page warns that some sellers are mistaken rather than deceitful. Every test costs time as radiation rises, and riskier storms bring better loot. The creator describes selling to four factions while saving for costly antimatter fuel; Joywisp has not verified the economy or randomization.
Prepare for what the station attracts
Stored biomass, metal and active electronics are described as attracting different raiders. The creator says preparation happens at night and the player watches when the raid arrives. The page calls this an early playtest, so features and balance can change. Its credits disclose AI tools used for art, music, voices and code; that is a creator statement, not a license to copy these assets.
How to choose
The page describes station actions such as weighing, scanning, probing, checking a registry and asking to drill an item, but does not publish keyboard or controller bindings. Follow the downloaded build's own prompts. Choose Scrap Inspector for evidence comparison and uncertain trading under a radiation clock. Fettle also involves judging goods, but its browser prototype centers repair and shop pricing rather than conflicting instrument readings and station defense.
