Balance digging with keeping miners alive

Breaking blocks earns gold for more miners and upgrades, but digging is only part of the job. Monsters can seize crew members, requiring direct clicks to stop the attack. The creator says a miner lost this way is gone permanently and a replacement begins again, making attention to the crew part of progression rather than an optional side activity.

Choose upgrades for a longer expedition

BlindHermit describes a descent of 100 metres across six biomes, with a boss at each tenth metre. Gold feeds five upgrade branches covering the crew, tools, hands, fortune and combat. Specialist recruits include guards and a medic. These are creator-listed systems, not a completed walkthrough; the guide does not prescribe an untested upgrade order or promise a completion time.

Return to camp and check your edition

Reaching the bottom ends an expedition, according to the creator. Camp construction then adds options for later runs, including recurring characters; artifacts instead last for the current expedition. Start through the browser entry or select the Windows build on itch.io. The author also links source code and states GPLv3, but this introduction does not audit that repository’s code or asset licences.
