Daytime is a flow toward the fire

The creator describes using a leaf blower to push fallen leaves into a bonfire. A burned leaf earns coins and extends the fire's life a little. Move the mouse to aim, then hold the left button to blow; the blower points toward the fire. A useful first observation is where leaves collect and whether your current position helps feed them inward. Exact movement constraints, burn rates and income values are not established by the description.

An extinguished fire starts the next choice

When the fire goes out, night begins and the game changes from blowing leaves to buying upgrades. The creator specifies hovering and clicking to select a purchase. Think about the day you just had before spending: did you struggle to move leaves, have too few leaves to burn, or want more value from each one? Those questions provide a way to compare the listed upgrade directions, without assuming a cheapest or optimal order.

Three upgrade directions, one growing fire

The creator names a stronger blower, more leaves and more valuable leaves among the upgrade directions. Seventeen upgrades are described as unlocking through play, eventually including tornadoes that carry leaves inward. Compare an upgrade's description with the bottleneck you noticed during the previous day. This guide offers that decision framework; it does not invent upgrade prices, unlock thresholds, a tested build or a promise that every later stage plays at the same pace.

A jam prototype about staying warm

Leaf by Leaf was made for Mini Jam 221: Autumn with the Staying Warm limitation. Its small campfire is described as growing toward a furnace through repeated days and purchases. The checked project is an HTML5 prototype by Reeecook, with mouse instructions and an AI-assisted code-and-text disclosure. Open the creator's page for the current version and any updated instructions; phone operation, persistence and the price of this browser build remain unverified here.
