Run the scavenging loop
The creator describes five goblins who bring back finds for the player to sort. Scrap can pay for upgrades, and the crew also needs food and transport. A Sorter and a trader named Sam become part of the management loop; the page lists ten collections to complete while clearing the junkyard into a park.
Plan around local progress
The official instructions name Go, Pile and Sort as click or tap actions and describe goblins gaining levels. The creator says the game saves automatically in the current browser but has no cross-device sync. That makes returning on the same browser the safer choice if you care about a collection; Joywisp has not verified save persistence, completion time or mobile behavior.
How to choose
The creator lists click or tap Go, open Pile and choose Sort the pile, plus pause and settings buttons. Keyboard shortcuts are not stated in the reviewed description. Choose this for collection and sorting with a visible restoration goal. The existing Simulation comparison includes Fettle’s appraisal and pricing work and Harvest Tycoon’s production and order fulfillment. Goblin Junkyard instead centers on a scavenging crew and site restoration; these are task differences rather than tested quality ratings.
