Creator-listed input

Choose how much sailing to manage

The creator describes trimming a mainsheet, steering by tiller, hoisting and reefing sails, and watching telltales, a masthead arrow and the boat's heel. Easy Sailing instead automates sail trim and lists simple W/S and A/D movement. These are alternative creator-described control paths; Joywisp has not verified their physics or ease of use.

Plan a voyage and its cargo

Harbours are described as unknown until sighted or shown on a purchased chart. You can plot at a chart table, watch a barometer and count lighthouse flashes at night. Harbourmaster contracts include fragile or live cargo, urgent runs and two-stop jobs, while market prices react to trades. The page lists six island environments and four boats; the scope of the current download is untested.

How to choose

The creator describes keyboard and mouse or a controller, with rebinding. Easy Sailing lists W/S for ahead and astern, A/D to turn; complete manual-mode bindings are not given in the reviewed description. Choose Glass Sea for a voyage shaped by navigation and boat handling, with Easy Sailing if you want less sail management. Talewyn Harbor in the linked Simulation selection focuses on fishing and harbor exploration instead; Joywisp has not compared their actual play.
