BY TASK

Two ways to play a rhythm cue

Lantern City and Beat the Hue both ask for action at a musical moment, but their choices differ. Lantern City has a performer leap toward a marker and reveals a picture after catches; its itch.io edition is limited to island one. Beat the Hue asks for the current color as well as timing, then changes that color every eight beats. These are creator descriptions, not timing tests.

Which one fits?

Choose Lantern City to follow a moving performer and see a picture emerge, using click, tap or Space as stated by its creator. Choose Beat the Hue if identifying color and avoiding old-color traps sounds better; its page lists two short levels and a Daily Beat. Phone, sound and timing behavior remain untested by Joywisp.
