Arcade driving / an in-development chase

Explosive Chasers

Steer through a police pursuit, destroy obstructing vehicles and collect coins for new cars and stages. Explosive Chasers pairs survival with destructive arcade driving; its current pre-alpha is offered as Windows and Android downloads.

A chase with two competing aims

The creator describes a police pursuit in which staying alive and causing destruction both matter. Weapons can clear vehicles from your path, while coins unlock more cars and stages. Surviving longer and progressing through levels also earns coins, and the challenges increase as you level up. That makes an opening in traffic useful for more than one reason: it may offer room to escape or a route toward another reward. For a first run, a useful question is whether collecting a coin leaves enough space to keep driving. That is an editorial practice prompt, not a tested optimal route.

Keep the brake and handbrake distinct

The published keyboard layout assigns acceleration to W and steering to A and D. Space is the handbrake. S has a separate dual label: brake or special power. The checked page does not explain which situation selects the special power, so this guide cannot assign it to a particular car or invent a cooldown. It also gives no separate firing key. Before attempting a crowded chase, consult the chosen build's instructions for those details. Knowing which key steers, which brakes and which operates the handbrake is a more concrete starting point than treating every input as an attack.

What the pre-alpha changes

The current description highlights a damage and revive system, random weather in arenas, and a destruction flash effect associated with random offensive weapons. It also reports changes to the car controller and performance. Those are creator-listed development changes; we have not measured their effect or tested the build. In particular, a revive feature does not establish an unlimited retry, a coin cost or a checkpoint. Check the version you open before relying on any of those possibilities, because a Third Demo is also still listed and its behavior may differ from the pre-alpha.

Choose a build before starting

Explosive Chasers is a downloadable project for Windows and Android. The checked file list contains Pre-Alpha at 134 MB, Pre-Alpha (Android) at 180 MB, and Explosive Chasers - Third Demo at 129 MB. Select the file appropriate to your device and confirm its current details on the creator's page; this guide does not start a download. The project uses a name-your-own-price entry. Android support and touchscreen input are listed, but the page does not document a touch layout or establish that the Windows keyboard instructions also describe the phone interface.
