What to expect
- Objective
- Survive projectile patterns by launching a Core through each stage.
- Failed attempt
- Creator says earned rewards persist after failure; campaign completion was not tested.
- Creator-listed input
- Left mouse drag and release to launch, right mouse to cancel, E for skill and Esc for pause/back.
Read the next launch
The creator describes sending a Core through enemy fire with a drag-and-release launch. Gravity and wall rebounds shape the path. Holding an aim uses limited slow-motion Focus, while close dodges can help recover a defensive skill faster; those timing claims are not Joywisp playtest results.
Plan across attempts
The in-development page lists a branching campaign with 30 playable levels, 20 Cores and different defensive skills. It also describes upgrades, crafting, loadouts and rewards kept after a failed attempt. The amount of currently accessible content and its balance may change.
How to choose
Creator-listed browser inputs: hold, drag and release the left mouse button to launch; right mouse cancels aiming; E activates a Core skill; Esc pauses or goes back. Choose Driftcore for mouse-aimed survival against projectile patterns and a progression loop after failed attempts. The Last Heron instead describes direct character movement and sword combat; Joywisp has not compared either game's difficulty through play.
