Watch the people you are supporting

Hildegard heals and transforms rather than filling the usual damage role. The creator places knights and villagers around a defended keep. When learning the opening controls, look at where support is needed before committing the mouse aim. This is a way to read the premise, not a tested optimal route or a guarantee that a particular spell saves every unit.

Keep the movement and casting controls separate

Movement uses WASD while the mouse places spells; hold the left button to cast. The creator also lists E for potions and the shop, and keys 1–4 for choosing the active ability. Check which ability is selected before holding the cast button. The page does not establish phone gestures or a keyboard-only substitute for mouse aiming.

Treat the gate as a phase boundary

Hold Space near the city gate to start or end the enemy-wave phase. That makes the gate a useful place to check the current run before changing phases. Rescued villagers and defeated monsters provide coins, which the creator says can buy knights and improve the keep. Exact costs, wave balance and purchase order have not been verified here.

Read new spells as run-specific choices

The creator describes different abilities during each run and new spells at levels 3, 6 and 9. Read the current spell description when it appears rather than planning around a fixed build from this introduction. Hildegard is labeled a prototype, with rough edges acknowledged by the team. Saves, late-run progression and a complete winning strategy remain untested.
